SAM RIVER OTTER

Yesterday I went Sutro Baths with my uncle & my aunt. We went to Sutro Baths to see Sam the River Otter. Nobody knows how he got there. Most people think he swam from Marin others think he got a ride on a boat. Sam is in between 18 months & 2 years old. Sam the River Otter is under 2 feet long.


A crane (on the bottom right) was looking at Sam (near the middle).  Sam & the crane were friends
where ever Sam would go the crane would follow him. Sam's favorite spot was in the midle of the grass. It is his favorite spot because it is where people dump there gold fish. The crane had a hard time following Sam.

    Great photo of Sam, I hadn't seen him before. Also, I think that might be a Heron in the photo. Thanks for the info Lucas!

    wow, i had heard about this otter before but I'm still amazed that you were able to track it down and see it in person. you're quite the little adventurer. Great!

    I think Sam wanted to be friends, but the Crane was not sure about it ...
